La Residencia Overview
La Residencia is possibly the most renowned hotel on the island set in the beautiful mountain village of Deia. The hotel consists of two manor houses from the 16th and 17th century lovingly restored and furnished with antiques creating a place of charm, style and character. The hotel´s backdrop provides guests with stunning views of the surrounding mountains and the Mediterranean Sea beyond. La Residencia was voted #2 in the Best Leisure Hotel in Europe category in the 2007 Conde Nast Reader’s Travel Awards.
La Residencia Rooms
There are 53 rooms, consisting of 4 singles, 32 doubles and 17 junior suites. Bedrooms are individually furnished and decorated in traditional Mallorcan style, many of the superior rooms have lovely high ceilings and four poster beds, the suites come with their own private pool. All rooms come with a television, dvd player, free Wi-Fi access and mp3 player.La Residencia Restaurants & Bars
El Olivo is the hotel’s gourmet restaurant and arguably the best in Mallorca. It is open for lunch and dinner and in the summer meals are moved onto the hotel terrace where views of the surrounding countryside can be enjoyed. Son Fony is the casual hotel restaurant located next to the pool area that serves Mediterranean cuisine. Luc Alcari is the pool bar that is open only during the summer season. The hotel bar serves drinks by the fireside in a relaxed, peaceful environment.La Residencia Facilities
The stunning spa that was voted fifth best hotel spa in Europe 2007 offers an indoor pool, gym, 6 treatment rooms, steam room, sauna, Jacuzzi and beauty salon. Two conference rooms, two tennis courts with resident coach and two outdoor swimming pools are on site. Many beautiful walks and jogging routes are nearby. Amazing Hotel
Conor from MarbellaLa Residencia in Deja is certainly one of the best hotels I have stayed at ever and given that I run a large Tour operator company that is really saying something! From the champagne on arrival, attentive service, tasteful decor, open spaces, location and ambiance this place is hard to beat.
