Ivory Playa Overview

The north of Mallorca provides some fabulous holiday destinations, and there are locations to suit all tastes. The six kilometre stretch of sandy beach curving round the bay of Alcúdia between Alcúdia and Ca'n Picafort is hugely popular with holidaymakers and is well served with restaurants, attractions, and other facilities.

We've failed to find a bad review of the three star Hotel Ivory Playa - sure, there's the odd critical comment, but always as part of a positive experience overall. What's really telling is the number of people who return year after year, and say that the hotel gets better all the time. This apartment style hotel is aimed fair and square at the family with young kids and gets the big thumbs up from this group!

Ivory Playa Rooms

All 152 apartments and 16 studios are equipped with air conditioning, heating, flat screen TV, telephone, American style kitchen with hob, fridge, microwave, toaster, cutlery and crockery, a complete private bathroom, and a balcony. Additionally, the apartments have a separate double bedroom, and two sofa beds in the living room.

Ivory Playa Restaurants & Bars

Both bed & breakfast and half board rates are available at the Hotel Ivory Playa, and the buffet style restaurant presents a good range of dishes, including international, Mallorcan, and Mediterranean choices. During the day, the outdoor snack bar offers light meals, snacks, and liquid refreshment, while the Central Bar opens in the evenings.

Ivory Playa Facilities

There's a very active activity and entertainment programme at the Ivory Playa, with the children being particularly well catered for by the animation team. The surrounding area offers plenty of sporting activity, including a wide variety of water sports, and many tourist attractions.

Our stay at the Ivory Playa

We stayed at your hotel in 2002 and 2003. We thoroughly enjoyed our visit. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. The rooms were really well serviced and again the lady who tidied our room was very helpful to us. We hope to return again this year and are really looking forward to it. The beach is so convenient, the bus stop right outside the hotel door was also very handy. Everything was perfect.
